After his arrest on 6 felony counts and 3 misdemeanors in December, 2008 Hide was released after all but 1 misdemeanor charge was dropped and sent back to Japan. Now he's back in L.A. and training with Charles Glass. He's down to 208 lbs. from 220 lbs. and his arms have grown from 15" to a just over 20".

He's lost 12 pounds in bodyweight and gained 5" on his arms.

i admit, those stats seem pretty random haha.. doesn't go together to me... was he like fat or something when he was 220? cause gaining 5 in on arms is pretty epic.. but like muscle should way more then fat so i have no idea anymore..
My bad. Ron Harris wrote that they had gone "from a little under 15 inches to a smidgen over 20, since he started competing." My synopsis did not make that clear.
Not surprised about his criminal past. He looks like an angry man.
I'd say aggressive rather than angry. In his defense, he claims that the drugs he was arrested for carrying are legal in Japan.
